say, yeah / let's be alone together

[ It's become something of a secret routine, to find time and ways to sneak away together when they can.

Keep an eye out, try to make time, ditch their respective jobs, make their excuses to the team, there's always a million small things to navigate around and it doesn't always work. Sometimes (a lot of times) Yosuke is forced to pick up shifts at Junes. Sometimes Yu can't get away from work commitments of his own, or he has to juggle his other social commitments and just can't sacrifice the time, as much as it pains him. And, of course, the case always comes first; this much they agree on. They love each other, they know that.

(Yu says it, and he's the only one who says it, so far. He's okay with that. Yosuke gets flustered, stammers something out in response, never the same three words, and Yu never minds. The way Yosuke touches him, kisses him, breathes back into him and smiles when Yu approaches him on their route to school in the morning says it in every other way he could ever want it said. He knows. He knows. They both know.)

So when it became clear the case wasn't nearly as done as they thought, that Naoto was in trouble, they'd needed to dive back into that world after all. If that meant sacrificing a little personal time, that had to be okay. Exams had picked up soon after her rescue, and the cultural festival was soon after that, each little thing picking away at the time they got to reserve for each other...

... but they try. They try to find their moments to sneak away.

Which led to this moment right now. The Saturday night they'd sworn on their lives to save for each other and each other alone. They'd even reserved the following Sunday - at least the morning - to have all to themselves, so they could at least have a sleepover and even sleep in (even if that wasn't Yu's default state). This night had started out with dinner with Nanako and video games and movies, pretty standard fare, but now, whatever movie might be on in the background, they sure as hell aren't paying attention to it.

Because Yosuke is straddling Yu, pressing him against the back of the couch, and all Yu remotely cares about is the solid line of heat that is Yosuke's chest against his. It feels like he can't get enough air as they kiss, as Yosuke's tongue dips into his mouth, and Yu answers with all the fervor he can muster. His hands grip Yosuke's hips a little too hard, thumbs stroking over what heated skin he can touch just above that waistband he's been steadily dragging a little lower, trying to hold the other boy steady.

He wants to buck his hips up, because all this heat is becoming more than he can stand, but he doesn't. They haven't gone that far yet. But each time they've come this close he's started to wonder if maybe, just maybe...

For now, though. He stays where he is, drinking Yosuke in, his heat and his hunger, arching up into him with just small movements of his spine and head. A few of his fingers are bold enough to slip below Yosuke's waistband, but they don't stray far, fanning out across his hip bones. ]
