[ The fog. Yosuke looks up and around them as if he's expecting the fog to come rolling in any second now, but for once it's clear. He nods despite not finding any. ]
It's always been foggy here in the spring and fall, but...I don't know. It's not how fog should be. It's just kind of there. It's not...wet. It's like fog without any water.
We've noticed it too. [ ... ] My uncle is a detective, so he's trying to investigate, but... I don't think the police are getting very far. [ He knows they aren't. ] What do you think it is?
Well ... when he's withholding as much information as he is, himself, he can hardly blame Yosuke for the dodge. Still, the wording sticks out to him. ]
Making these decisions... you mean, staying out of the fog?
[ Yu tilts his head back to look at the sky, a gesture of curiosity and thoughtfulness. ]
Guess so. Let me know what you find out. [ He looks down again with a warm smile. If there's a reason for Yosuke's people to stay away from the fog... he wants to know what it is. Even if Yosuke won't tell him who he's going to speak to, the information the question yields may still prove useful to the case. ]
Yeah. [ Yu's smile is warm as he picks up his book again. If he's honest with himself, he has no reason to stay now that he's gotten the chance he was hoping for to speak with Yosuke again.
But, well, he could at least finish the chapter he was on. This is a nice spot to read, when he manages to stay awake. ]
[ Yosuke hesitates at the edge of the dock, as if he's trying to think of something else to say, but...he figures...if he's got some answers then he has another good reason to show up at the dock another day.
